| Project Description: | The Charleston County Airport Authority intends to expand the existing tie-down apron area to the east and construct two nested T-Hangars. Based upon the preliminary layout, the two structures may consist of one 9-unit and one 15-unit nested T-Hangars. Each Hangar will include electrical power, internal overhead lights, light switches, electrical outlets, exterior lights over each hangar door, and bifold doors.
In addition to the expansion of the apron area and construction of the proposed T-Hangars, the project will include relocating three existing apron light poles, and the existing water and force main lines owned and maintained by the Mount Pleasant Waterworks Department. The design of the water and force main lines shall be in compliance with the Mount Pleasant Waterworks Department. Based on the relocation of these two utilities, a revised deed and plat will be prepared associated with the easement to the Mount Pleasant Waterworks Department.
